Trek can carbon fibre go back a long way, the company has continued to be at the forefront of carbon technology and embracing the material in its top-end bikes, such as the Remedy 9.7 we’ve been testing recently.
There’s now a carbon Session 9.9 in the pipeline. At the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup, taking place this weekend, Aaron Gwin was spotted aboard a fully carbon Session, which looks to use the tech and features that have been used on the company’s more cross-country orinentate bikes for several years.
Details are, well sparse to say the least at the moment, but it can only be a matter of time before it’s officially launched. We expect to see it available in the 2012 range of Trek bikes. More info when we get it.
