Whackjob, a new mountain bike clothing manufacturer based in Devon, is to launch a range of t-shirts made using bamboo fibre.
The initial three strong t-shirt range falls into two collections: ‘A Bit Special’, or Whackjob’s own take on MTB terminology, and ‘A Bit Abstract’, which founder Joel Teague says provides something “a little different from other shirts that riders will see out on the trail.”
Whackjob say bamboo fibre has a natural wicking quality ideal for action sports, and which is anti-bacterial and odour-resistant, with a smooth, soft and stretchy texture.
The range will launch in August but, for now, Whackjob are looking for feedback on their three initial designs. Head to www.whackjob.co.uk to take a look.
