World cross country champion José Antonio Hermida has unveiled the Hermida Signature Series technical clothing collection.

The range is manufactured by Sumattory and the first jersey and bib short designs will hit the stores this week, along with technical base layers and additional colours of Hermida’s existing range of gloves. A winter range will be released later in the year.

“For me it is a very interesting experience, and the work done in recent months has been very intense,” said Hermida, who won world gold in Mont-Saint-Anne in September 2010.

“It’s very exciting to see something that I’ve been so involved in, and where I have tried to take care of every single detail, hit the market.

“The know-how of the designers and engineers together with my feelings have given birth to a very competitive collection. I am very proud of the final result and that the pieces that use my name have reached this level of quality.”
