The city of Rotorua on New Zealand’s north island will play host to the 2010 Singlespeed World Mountain Bike Championships on 23 October.
The event will take place in the Whakarewarewa Forest on its extensive trail network and with six months still to go nearly 750 riders have entered, coming from over 25 countries around the world.
In 2011 it will be the turn of Napier and the Hawke’s Bay Mountain Bike club to host the championships.
