Alex Baker and Paul Beales have renewed their contracts with Orange Monkey-Cannondale.
Baker will stay with the team for a further two seasons, which will see him progress from the junior ranks to under-23. In 2011 Baker competed in his first World Cup at Dalby Forest, while the highlight of his season was second in the British National Championships, which made him the highest placed first-year junior.
Beales has signed a new one-year deal with the team, with the 28-year-old continuing to add considerable experience to the squad. Orange Monkey-Cannondale have also promised that another new rider will be unveiled shortly.
Meanwhile, the team also announced that Cannondale will stay on as title sponsor in 2012.
Cannondale brand manager Mike Cotty said: “Having seen how the team has developed and knowing the ambition that is deep rooted in every aspect, from the riders through to management, mechanics and support, it’s exciting to once again supply Orange Monkey with our Scalpel Carbon and Flash Carbon race bikes for the 2012 season.
“With the infrastructure and strength in depth that’s now in place, especially with the new signings, we look forward to this year being the best in history for the team.”
