The London Cyclist website has released the London Bike Rides iPhone app, a guide to 30 on and off-road rides across the capital.

The app includes a variety of easy, medium and hard routes, from gentle canal towpath family rides to muddy trails on the Epsom Downs.

Alongside a map of each route, the app includes more than 100 pictures and videos to give an overview of each ride, while sights and attractions are listed, as well as cafes, pubs and bike shops.

The London Bike Rides app is available from the App Store at the reduced price of £1.79 for two weeks, with the final retail price to be set at £2.99.
