One of Britains most succesful household names, JC Bamford Excavators Ltd, have signed a licensing deal with Moore Large, distributors of Haro and Barrcuda, to let them produce ‘JCB’ bikes.
It’s planned to be much more than just a branding exercise though and all models will have to be passed by JCB. There are plans in the pipeline for a race team or even a sponsored race series, possibly using the man made slopes and mud splashes of the JCB proving ground itself.
Preview models will be debuted in spring / summer with a full range launch in autumn, but there’s no news on spec levels or prices though. further sleuthing by trade site BikeBiz reveals “all the bikes will be yellow and one, indeed, is called SiteMaster.”
