Tour hat-trick hero Lance Armstrong is taking to the streets of San Francisco with his full US Postal squad for the SF Grand Prix.

Following in the famous film car chase tyre tracks of that other all American hero – Steve McQueen – Lance and the boys will be tearing round the steep hilly streets of the ‘city by the bay’ trying not to get caught in the tram rails.

Although Lance and Postal will undoubtedly be the stars of the 125 mile show as it’s his only US appearance this year, all the top US road teams will be there too. Not only will they be trying to gain valuable points for the national series but you can bet they’ll try and put the hurt on the triumphant Texan.
