The Wild Boar 24 hour race returns for its second outing on 16/17 May at the new location of Wythop Hall Estate, Keswick, Cumbria.
Organisers have taken the event back to the drawing board and planned a new location claiming “we can guarantee a fabulously stunning course that has been designed for mountain bikers by mountain bikers.”
Set in private estate Wythop Hall, the courses 8 mile loop will incorporate plenty of classic Lakeland riding, with mountains, moors, fell and forestry combining to create a unique and challenging event, with at least 500m of climbing. Beginners and experienced riders will be universally catered for.
Camping will be free of charge for the duration of the event from Friday until Monday morning. And with the event coinciding with the Keswick Mountain Festival the whole family will be entertained.
AYUP lights will be providing illuminating advice, while Shimano will be providing technical support. Local bike shop Wheelbase will be on hand too for last minute purchases.
