We reviewed Pace’s RC36 Pro Class Lock out forks a couple of weeks ago, and we thought they were absolutely splendid.

Smooth, beautifully damped, finely hand finished with coil springs and greaseports to ensure massive reliability. In fact our only small niggle was the need to find new circlips if you ever stripped the fork down for cleaning or swapping travel from 100 – 80mm.

Well it looks like Pace were listening as we got this reply from headman Adrian Carter this morning;

“OK so you don’t like circlips. Point taken about the cost and hassle when you have to arse around sourcing new ones.

But don’t despair! As of today all new Pace forks will have some freebie circlips (2) included with the fork.

Happy now? Don’t ever say Pace aren’t quick to respond.”

Well, we can’t say fairer than that can we?
