Kye Forte has to be one of the most talented bike riders in the UK. He’s previously raced on MTBs, ridden as a pro in BMX for over a decade and has recently turned his hand to downhill too (we’re pretty sure he even won the race he entered recently).
Kye is supported by Charge bikes and there’s nowt he loves more than to get out and have a shred on his Cooker… Or at least that’s what we’ve assessed from this superb Alex Rankin short:
From Charge Bikes:
Kye Forte has been an active, professional BMX rider for over ten years now with an impressive contest history. He has his own signature BMX parts and has many appearances on multiple magazine covers, billboards and advertisements.
Known for his positive attitude and professional commitment, Kye has also achieved great things on and off his BMX, including the concept of the hugely successful Red Bull Empire Of Dirt Event and the Oakley National Trails Championships. In this video Kye shows us what he can do on his Red Bull Weavers X Charge Cooker bike.
Red Bull Weavers was a dual slalom downhill bike race like no other; it put the rider’s skills and precision to the ultimate test. The course was cut into the shoulder-high wheat crop, and featured steep declines, blind corners and tight-lines to test the mettle of the competitor.
We assembled 12 Custom bikes with the help of SRAM and RockShox. These bikes were custom painted 2013 Cooker single speed frames that used custom 60mm Reba RockShox forks and SRAM/ Truvativ build kit, the perfect tools for the job. A few of the bikes were given to the winners of the event, the others were given to a select group of pro riders … Kye was one of the chosen riders.
