Registration for the sixth TransRockies stage race challenge opens November 1. It’s quickly earned a reputation as a tough and gruelling challenge, and attracts riders from around the world.
In 2007 the event will be take place from August 12-18 and there’s of 275 riders, in teams of two. Registration for the 2007 TransRockies Challenge will open at 12:01am MST (GMT -7) on November 1st.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and entries can either be submitted through the website www.transrockies.com or by faxing in the entry form, also available online.
The teams will be competing in six categories based upon age and gender, and can sign up for three event packages based upon the level of service provided by the organizers. Full details of the various packages are available online. Entries can only be accepted for teams rather than individuals, but riders can sign up for a team spot without confirming their partner. The responsibility for finding a race partner remains entirely theirs.
