This is the news

1) Paces new frame
Pace have a prototype superlight aluminium and carbon frameset, that’s superlight – 1.38kg apparently. Adrian is testing it to see if it will break. The only carbon bit is the seat tube, but it’s the business apparently. MBUK have it right now and are taking pictures of it. More when we find out.

2) Paces new fork no.1
Pace have a carbon rigid fork for release soon. It’s based on their lightweight hollow crown and has steel stanchions pressed into the crown, with carbon legs bonded onto them. Then dropouts stuck in the bottom. They’ll be doing an extreme use and a lightweight set. Nice.

3) Paces new fork no.2
They’ll be doing a fork called an RC-37 INVERT. A 100mm travel dirt jump fork retailing for £199. Release Spring 2001.

4) Preston is here this morning.
Hopefully. It’s raining. Heck, I’ll get wet.
Have fun…
