The Bull Raid, Ireland’s 12-hour mountain bike race, returns on Saturday August 6.
Having just held round one of the Irish XC NPS series, with over 300 entries, the Bellurgan Park Estate in County Louth has been developed by a dedicated team of trail builders, who have created some single track heaven, hand carved in ancient broad leaf forest, for a 10km lap.
New for 2011, The Half Bull six-hour race will be held over the same course, finishing at 7.30pm, the same time as the Full Bull 12-hour event, which kicks off at 7.30am.
Full Bull entries can be made solo or as two or four person teams. The Half Bull can be raced solo or as a pair. There will be a BBQ after the event, while camping is available from 4pm on the Friday.
