Apologies for the lack of news today. I’ve been out on a photoshoot and experienced first hand the real problems that motorists are having with the blockades of fuel depots around the country
Yorkshire and Lancashire are practically dry of fuel. The town I live in has NO PETROL OR DIESEL anywhere. Top photographer Steve Bardens has just left a photoshoot with 1/4 of a tank of fuel, heading south, hoping for the best.
Over the next few days, the country is slowly going to grind to a halt. Bikes will be the only form of transport that works.
Bikes will have their day.
As for moaning motorists complaining about the price of fuel. Sod ’em. Petrol tax means lower income tax, and those without a car aren’t penalised for the enviromental damage that car and lorry owners create. If the goverment stand firm on this one, they will all realise that fact.
Power to the cyclists…
STOP PRESS
Marin/ATB Sales have had to cancel a dealer show because the trucks they were using to move their bikes to the event can’t get any fuel. THIS IS REAL. IT IS HAPPENING.
