If your bike is affected Trek will give you a shiny new stem for free, can’t be bad.Please be advised that we have experienced a small number of broken clamp bolts in some Icon Havana and Icon Bordeaux road stems. The potential exists for the stem faceplate and handlebars to separate from the stem body. Only the Icon Havana and Bordeaux road stems have the potential to be affected.

1. Using a ruler measure the distance between the left and right front edges of the stem.
2. If the measurement is between 17 – 20mm the stem is affected.
3. If the measurement is between 30 – 35mm the stem is not affected.
