They might do a lot of work for “Charideee” mate, but the poptastic platter teasers of the San Jose airwaves will be looking in vain for mercy if local cyclists get hold of them.

Two afternoon show DJ’s Kramer and Twitch on KSJO-FM, ‘joked’ that drivers should suddenly open their car doors in front of cyclists and even run them over. Unsuprisingly this hilarity was met with a barrage of complaints and threats from local and national cyclists, and though the station has tried to pass it off as an “error of judgment that missed the mark in an attempt at humour.” the two have been suspended.

Obviously fearing a pedal powered lynching, the station manager also claimed that he did not know the pair’s real names and wouldn’t divulge the exact nature of their comments. The anonymous pair will be indefinitely suspended, pending an investigation. An apology has been made on air.
