Amongst the many fine Air Ambulance fundraising efforts made by the RUSS Appeal, there’s one which cunningly has the potential to do double duty as a top Christmas gift.
The official RUSS Appeal t-shirt, designed by Mint Sauce creator Jo Burt, was produced in time for the first Ride for a Flight event at Checkendon, but there’s still a few left. Only 250 were printed and there’ll never be any more, so it’s a proper limited edition. They’re top-quality shirts with a full-colour print front and rear.
They’re available in medium, large or extra-large for £27.50 (including postage) or if you’re quick you can get one of ten shirts signed by Jo – they’re fifty quid, or more if you’re feeling charitable. Every penny goes the the Air Ambulance – it’s entirely funded by donations, so it all helps.
You can order online or by phone on 01296 747080. Every shirt ordered before the 19th of December should reach you in time for Christmas.
On the subject of the RUSS Appeal, we’re told that 7/8 August has been earmarked as the date for Ride for a Flight 2004, organised by all-round top event organising types Trail Break. Bloke in charge Phil Harrison is planning a range of activities, including, it says here, “something for all of you freeridey/downhilly types!” More details as they emerge…
