The prospect of getting a nice tan is something that people look forward as summer approaches. However for the cyclist, the tan may be far from ‘all-over’. Do people wonder why your tan stops just above your knee, do you suffer the curse of the ‘white glove marks’?
Unfortunately things are getting even worse, in a bizarre combination of helmet hair and glove tan, comes HELMET TAN!!

After 14 hours of biking in the Dales this weekend, I have discovered two brown blotches on my forehead. These co-incide exactly with the front vents on my Exodus helmet. Whether this will eventually lead to blonde patches in my hair, I’m unsure. But if you’re a bald helmet wearer – be very afraid!
