The 16th annual Single Speed UK Championships, SSUK 2010, will take place at Cwm Rhaeadr in Llandovery on 13-15 August.

Preparations for the event are well underway, with sponsors confirmed including Morvelo and special prizes from Lynskey, Cotic, Singular and Bontrager. Food will be taken care of by the DropOff Cafe all weekend, and camping is available just a short walk away.

“Race day will be Saturday afternoon with a post race party after. It’ll be a usual single speed affair – the start will probably not quite be on time, we’ll probably move your bikes around, and we’re guessing that some of you may be starting the race feeling a little worse for wear.

“We can pretty much guarantee the most breathtaking beer stop of any event you’ve been to, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll remember the finishing places of anything other than the first few riders. But then again, that’s not why you’ll be coming to SSUK…”
