Wiltshire club and event promoter SPAMbiking has announced details of two enduros for 2004. Fans of advance planning should jot these down in the Diary of Destiny.

First up is the Whyte Solstice Challenge. Choose from 90 or 55km enduros or a 35km leisure ride. Start is at Ludgershall near Andover, the date is 20 June 2004. 600 riders turned out for this one in 2003 so it should be a biggie.

Later in the year is the Lavington Blast (12 September 2003). It’s a “tough” 60km enduro or 25km leisure ride. The start is at Erlestoke, near Devizes – the same venue as the Salisbury Plain Challenge New Year Rough Ride.
