Ok, this is a road challenge, but bear with us. Trail Break, better known for their excellent MTB events, are staging a 150k challenge event around the hills and valleys of the South Downs. It’s open to all abilities, and if 150k sounds a lot, there’s a 90 and 65k option too.

If you like to raise money while cycling, then the RUSS Appeal are putting on Ride for a Flight. So far they’ve managed to raise £35,000 and are hoping to add to that with a tempting offer. They’ve got ten free entries up for grabs from whoever manages to raise just £50 in sponsorship for the RUSS Appeal, and if you miss out on those free places, then anyone who raises the £50 will get their entry fee for half price.
