RAT MBC and ProCup have teamed up to run the official 2007 Southern Area Championships at Chawton Park Woods, near Alton, Hants. Racing will take place on Sunday 19 August, with camping available on Saturday night (no showers, though).

The new course features high-speed singletrack, some tight, technical sections and plenty of short, sharp climbs. The event is BCF sanctioned in Category D – national ranking points up for grabs. There’ll be racing in all the usual categories for all ages and abilities.

Prize sponsors include Felt Bikes, 1st Gear Cycles, Crank Brothers, Lizard Skins and Dirtworker. 1st Gear and Dirtworker will also be providing shop/mechanic support and bike wash facilities respectively.
