Here’s a run down of all the women’s specific seminars, workshops, advice, and much more, on offer throughout the show;
Trek WSD, Fit for Women:
Trek in association with Sigma are giving women the opportunity to try the latest Women’s Specific Bike Designs on a 1 KM cycle test track. Sigma will have a Bikefit service at the show and a range of women’s specific cycling and tri gear.
Female Specific Seminars, Seminar Theatre 2:
Fiona Hoare, Triathlon coach – Training advice for novice female athletes 9:30am
Dearbhia McCullogh, Roehampton Uni’s senior lecturer in exercise physiology – Relationship between the menstrual cycle and exercise 10:15am
Dr Auriel Forrester, Sports scientist, triathlon and cycle coach – Your 10-point guide to buying a ladies’ – specific bike 11:00am
SheCycles.com Internet Cafe:
Go Italian and grab a coffee and panini while surfing the web in the SheCycles.com Internet Cafe. Also enter a competition to win a fantastic Trigon EX1 carbon bike, a pair of AM Classic Wheels and wheel bags. All entries will recieve free samples of Agisko nutrition.
Practical Workshops:
Shimano Service Centre will be presenting on basic bike maintenance and preparation and Viner will have a workshop on getting the perfect fit on your bike. Female cycling guru Dr Auriel Forrester will be available on stand K6 to answer training related questions, and if you fancy giving road racing a go, call on the Surrey League stand no G30 to find out about their beginners races.
Retailers:
A number of female specific retailers are exhibiting at the show including Girls Run Too and Less Bounce. A wide array of femail specific bike designs will be on display from top names including Trek and Specialized. With over 130 exhibitors and 250 brands represented TCR06 is shopping heaven!
