Satmap Systems Ltd has today announced the launch of the Transalp map. For the first time customers can get a digital topographical map of the key mountain ranges in Germany, Austria and Italy.
The Transalp map card covers an area of 93,000 square kilometres and costs £199.99 (€219.99). The map scales vary between 1:54k down to 1:7k. It is available from satmap.com and customers can also order the map through their local Satmap retailer.

Whilst we sell all these areas separately, having them on one card is better value and it also means customers have the flexibility to explore widely. A detailed map on your GPS adds to the enjoyment and safety of any trip but it is especially useful in the hills and mountains.”
