Vertically challenged riders seeking quality steeds can often feel short changed by the choice on offer. In fact, according to Commonwealth Games cross-country competitor, Jackie Fletcher, an exhaustive search into 14.5” race-level hardtails found Rocky Mountain were the only high-end brand fitting the bill. Jackie’s 11th place in the Games was overshadowed by her spectacular mid-race crash that had the nation punching their slow-mo buttons.
Rocky offer a wide variety of sizes, throughout their range, and they even specially set up components such as brake levers for diminutive riders before they get to the shop. To further encourage smaller riders to swing a leg over a Rocky, anyone buying a 14.5” or 16” cross-country hardtail will get a free set of Rocky Mountain race kit for that ‘pro issue’ look.
As a footnote, Rocky would like to congratulate TransAlp winners, Leslie Tomlinson and Gretchen Reeves, who completed the marathon event aboard prototype ETS-X machines.
