Recycle, the countries no.1 second hand bike dealer is to close,
to allow owner Vince Cundle to concentrate on his high-end range of frames, from
Dekerf and Litespeed.

“After 6 successful years trading as Recycle, I think
the time has come to move on. I noticed a gap in the high end bespoke cycle market
and wanted to find a place where top brands such as Dekerf and Litespeed can be seen
and tested, hence the relocation of The Fridge. This is coupled with the fact that
the secondhand market is being undersold by discounted brands so it seemed like the
perfect time to move on.”

WHERE TO NEXT THEN?

Relocation plans have been announced to open a new showroom in the Kent countryside
to continue The Fridge’s success in a more fitting environment, after several years
trading in Penge. The Fridge will continue to be the exclusive UK dealer for Dekerf
and will be able to offer direct sales on quality brands like Litespeed and components
from the likes of Hope and Marzocchi.

Vince said, “The focus of the Fridge will remain the same. Offering high-end
quality bikes, frames and components on a person to person basis. The new premises
gives us an excellent chance to take these exciting brands to the customer in a pleasant
atmosphere with suitable cycling terrain nearby.”

The new Fridge facility promises to be an exciting venture. Excellent transport
links via the M20/M25 and plans to develop a test fleet of quality bikes and good
riding bang on the doorstep will make the visit worthwhile. Vince’s in-depth knowledge
and experience of some of the finest bikes in the world -will mean that customers
get the personal touch, as close as you can get to a bicycle consultancy.

Access to some of the best components selected from the new warehouse and a fully
equipped workshop means the customer gets the chance to spec a dream machine and
discuss the finer details after taking a top quality demonstrator around the test
trails.
