The Rally di Sardegna will return for a fourth edition in 2011 – with the race expanding from five stages to six.

This year’s event will be held a week later than usual, from June 12-18, with entries now open.

The race explores the Italian island, from the 1,834m peak of Punta La Marmora to the beaches of Ogliastra.

Entry costs 600 euros before December 31 and 700 euros thereafter. There is also a special rate for families wanting to accompany riders and take in the island for themselves.
