Very much in the grand tradition of races before they got too serious, the Great Drumtochty Challenge is a one one day mountain bike orienteering competition, which was started in 1998 by the Brechin Cycle Club.
The event is rapidly gaining a following from mountain bikers from all over Scotland as well as this side of the border.
