Next weekend, Aug 3rd – 5th, is this summers’ Cyclefest, at Checkendon near Reading.
Trailbreak head honcho Phil Harrison tells us that there are still a few places left on the three-day mtb challenge/beer-up – one of the highlights of the mtb calendar. Trailbreak events generally have good trails, a great atmosphere and are professionally organised, well worth a dabble if you haven’t already done so.
In addition to the usual attractions, three days mtb orienteering, food and beer, Cannondale are taking along a fleet of ‘Chain-gang’ Jekylls for punters to try out free of charge, on the Saturday and Sunday. Cannondale marketing bloke, Mike Cottey, told us that “the only thing you need to do to get a ride on this year’s Jekyll take your passport along to the Cannondale stand on the day”.
To book your place give Phil a ring on 0118 9860652. For more information, on-line booking, and details of Trailbreak’s numerous other events throughout the south of England, check the
