The biggest mountain bike enduro event in the UK, Original Source Mountain Mayhem, is also one of the hardest to gain entry into, such is the demand for places. The countdown to the entry forms being available has started, with midnight February 28 the date to remember if you want to enter.

The 12th edition of the legendary race takes place on 18-20 June at Eastnor Castle in Ledbury, Herefordshire where over 2,500 riders are expected to descend.

This year also sees Original Source Mountain Mayhem launch its Ambassador programme.  Designed to uncover rider’s individual stories and Mayhem experiences, keep an eye out for the Ambassador entry form, also to be unveiled at midnight on Sunday.

“Catering for teams of ten, five, four and for the determined few, solo riders, Original Source Mountain Mayhem 2010 promises to pack the usual punch of ups, downs, twists and turns as well as mud, sweat and laughter,” commented the organisers.
