Chain Reaction Cycles NPS DH organisers NACC Events have been forced to postpone the third round of the series, scheduled for this weekend at Pen-y-bont-fawr. Recent heavy rain has caused severe damage to the track used for uplifts, making it effectively impossible to run the race.

It’s also proved impossible to find an alternative venue at short notice, so the race will be rescheduled to another, as yet uncomfirmed, date. If you’ve pre-entered you’ve got a range of options. Nearby Moelfre will be hosting an uplift day for a maximum of 120 riders, so you can transfer part of your entry fee to this. Or you can transfer it to the rescheduled NPS 3, to another NPS round or the the Fat Face National Championships. Or you can just get a refund.
