A whole bunch of company websites are either way out of date or just plain useless. Not everyone is overlooking the benefits of the web though, we’ve found new, and useful sites from Titec, Continental and UK parts and accessories over-lords Madison.
Titec.com has been redesigned to include the latest product info and downloadable catalogues on their seatpost, handlebar, stem grip and saddle line, including some sexy new titanium stuff.
Closer to home, Welsh tyre wizards Cambrian tyres have added downloadable ..pdf files of the 2002 Continental catalogue. Head for Conti-tyres.co.uk for the full skinny. There are also downloadable ‘suggested use’ files and a flash movie of how the tyres are made. All splendid stuff.
Madison, import and distribute: Shimano, Park Tool, Blackburn, Ridgeback, Rocky Mountain, Giro, Bell, Hydrapak, and many more. They’ve just launched Madisonbrandinformation.com a site with, well information about the brands they supply. While it’s not always obvious where some information lives it is a very useful resource.
There are a bunch of other sites including RockShox.com, Bikes.com the home of Rocky Mountain, which have all been updated with the full range of 2002 kit. Should be a good day of web time wasting ahead. Enjoy!
