The Women’s National Champion in the 10 and 25 mile Road Time Trials, Sally Ashbridge, has fallen foul of bike thieves who stole her three mountain bikes that she uses for winter training from her home in Aberdeen.
One of the bikes, which are worth a total of four grand, has since been recovered but this is not the bike she regularly uses for training. The two still missing to look out for are a red Klein Pulse 2 with a 20in frame and a red Trek VRX500.
Sally is busy training in a bid to take part in the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, so if you think you might have any information that could help find the bikes please get in touch with Grampian Police on (01224) 386000 or Crimestoppers on (0800) 555 111. Sally is offering a reward of between two and three hundred pounds for information leading to recovery of the bikes.
