Mud Dock continues its Dirty Sunday ride series, and for 2001 has expanded the theme.

Mud Dock has updated its website with its 2001 ride program.

Along with 5 Sunday rides in the Quantocks area throughout the Spring/Summer season there is the BIG Weekend on 21/22 July, taking in the both the Red Bull and Karrimor trails in Mid-Wales.

Also new this year are the Women’s Nights, a monthly ride for women only, based at Ashton Court, Bristol’s Mountain Bike Mecca.

Speaking of Ashton Court, the Mud Dock Timberland Trail is still on track for opening in Summer 2001. Television crews were today given a sneak peak at the route by resident Cannondale Team rider & Mud Dock Assistant Manager, Matt Carr, fresh from his recent 24 hour mountain bike Enduro record, which now stands at 272 miles.

Matt is looking for a further improvement into 2001, with an attempt at the world record, which stands at 333 miles, planned for this Summer.”
