The Midlands Mountain Biking Group, have secured a
deal for the 2000 season with premier bike manufacturers Specialized.



Formerly sponsored by MEB under the Midlands Electricity name, the Series, with its
customer conscious approach, has gained a reputation for friendly well organised
events. The Races held by age group and ability, are open to anyone from aged 6
and above, and will offer either intense top competition at National level, or Fun
rides for novices.



This season’s British Cycling Federation sanctioned series, will retain time-honored
favorite venues, like the Astley Estate and The Bringewood Chase, but also includes
four exciting new locations for both the downhill and crosscountry disciplines.
The events, once again expected to attract large numbers of riders and spectators,
are held every month, March to September, and will cumulate in a Grand Final at Eastnor,
near Malvern., Worcestershire.
