It’s been known for BM to occasionally don a pair of trainers and take part in multi-sport events, and the popularity of off-road duathlon’s appears to be growing, if the launch of the Merrell sponsored MudMan is anything to go by.
Held on 24 November, the off-road event will be staged around the hills of Camberley, Surrey. Organisers have laid out a course that promises to be “…a test of strength and stamina.” And with a challenging 7.5k run, 15k ride and a final 7.5k run, it should deliver.
Numbers are limited to 500 and the organisers assure us the event will fill up quickly. There’s also a stand-alone 7.5k run for those interested.
Organisers Human Race have plenty of experience staging such events, having held 17 already this year. John Lunt, Director of Human Race says: “Off-road racing is becoming more and more popular and we are very excited about developing an off-road series to add to our extensive events calendar.”
