Orange wants your bike. Well, sort of. You may have seen the Orange Mountain Bikes advertising campaign centering on Orange owners and their pride and joys some time ago. It’s about to run another ad along similar lines, and needs your help.

The back cover of a magazine (the sort that’s printed on crushed-up dead trees that you have to pay money to read) is booked, but they don’t yet have enough photos of owners and their bikes to make the ad work.

This, as they say, is where you can step in. If you’re the proud owner of an Orange and have a choice photo of you riding it/standing beside it, and want to share it with the rest of the world, Orange want your photo. If you don’t have a photo but want to take part, you’ve only got a few days to get snapping, as the deadline is this Thursday, 22 November.

Send you photo to [email protected] – Orange is looking for decent quality pics but don’t send them files over 2Mb, they’re only going to be used fairly small. You need to be sure that you have rights to publish the photo, so nothing you’ve bought at races or nicked off the internet. And of course an Orange bike has to feature somewhere in the picture. There’s no reward for submitting your photo, except instant worldwide recognition and gloating rights over your mates.
