Access guru, Colin Palmer, has introduced a pair of maps detailing some 14 mountain bike routes in the West Midland county of Worcesecestershire. The rides all follow a circular format and stick to bridleways, abandoned roads and quiet country lanes. To ensure nobody gets lost, they have all been fully waymarked.

Split into West and East, the two maps feature routes from 8 – 33km and also come loaded with invaluable tourist information on the flipside. Colin has made a conscious decision to exclude the legendary Malvern Hills, however, as heavy walking traffic and erosion problems have made them a sensitive area for mountain biking.

The Malverns Offroad Cycling Maps have been produced in partnership with the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and sell for £2.99 (+ 31p postage and packing).
