Madison (distributors of Giro, Shimano and loads more brands) has today announced it’ll be looking after GoPro cameras in the UK.
GoPro’s range of HERO HD cameras, popular with mountain bikers, motocross and freesport enthusiasts with accessories designed to allow the cameras to be body worn or mounted on bikes or helmets, have been used in the making of many of the videos on Mpora.com.
“GoPro has established itself as the clear global market leader in the wearable and mountable action camera sector. The growth of this brand around the world has been simply phenomenal. The quality and passion of the GoPro management team, product engineering team, brand image and the sheer number of GoPro evangelists who use the products every day make this a highly desirable brand to distribute.” Said Dominic Langan, CEO of Madison.
“GoPro is rapidly expanding globally as one of the most exciting consumer brands in specialty sports retail,” said Jonathan Harris, GoPro’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
“The United Kingdom is a significant growth opportunity for GoPro and we’re thrilled to be teaming up with Madison, the clear leader in UK specialty sports distribution. Madison’s thirty years of experience and strong relationship with retailers spanning the bike, motocross and boardsports markets makes them the ideal partner to scale GoPro’s retail presence in core sports shops across the UK.”
