Wiltshire MTB club SPAMBiking (that’s Salisbury Plain Area Mountain Biking) will hold its late-summer enduro this weekend (Sunday 17 September) at Erlestoke, Wiltshire.
Two courses are on offer. The main event is the 60km enduro route, backed up by a 30km option. SPAMBiking says, “Both offer challenges to any rider, but the 60km will have more of the gruelling climbs that this event has become reknowned for. Don’t be deceived by the distance – the 60km is every bit as challenging as other enduros offered nationwide.”
There’ll be comprehensive rider support on the course, with full marshal cover (including motorbike outriders and get-you-home 4x4s). Event HQ will have refreshments, toilets, lots of parking and local bike shops Bertie Maffoons and Bikes And Boards will be on hand for those last-minute spares.
Full details and entry forms available at www.spambiking.co.uk – pre-entry is £15, you can enter on the day too but it’ll be another three quid.
