Proving his early season form is good, Chris Kovarik notched up another win for the new Chain Reaction Cycles Intense Racing Team, winning in a local race in Fontana, California recently.

Team manager Nigel Page says: “Even with a bobble entering the rock garden and missing the fastest line, Kovarik was able to take the win mainly due to his corner speed, visibly much faster than the rest of the field as you watched them coming down a large percentage of the course.”

This marks the second win for the new team, which sees leading mail-order specialist Chain Reaction Cycles sponsoring the Intense Racing Team for 2008. With riders such as Chris Kovarik, Ruaridh Cunningham and Matt Simmonds, don’t be surprised to see the team atop the podium throughout the season.
