| Jo Leigh, hot new female rider on the Animal Orange team missed a podium slot by inches to place fourth in the opening round of the World Cup Dual race at Les Gets this weekend. We’re chasing details at the moment, but the placings and race results can be found at the UCI site, with the links listed below. In the mens racing, Brian Lopes got the season off to a flying start, but good results for the UK were posted by Nigel Page and Scott Beaumont (equal 5th). Steve Peat looks to have cruised the dual to save himself for the downhill, and we’re sure Longden and Wardell will be using the same excuse. Check out the UCI site for more info.
