The Bike 2002 show is looking more like a who’s who of mountain biking with every passing day.
Legendary BMX’er Dave Mirra has now been confirmed as a rider for this weekend’s event in Birmingham. He joins previously confirmed stars such as DH World Champion Greg Minaar, Steve Peat, Karim Amour, BMX world Champ Dale Holmes, National Dual champion Will Longden, Scott Beaumont and a whole pack of others competing for the £9000 BSX prize on the purpose built indoor course.
For this year’s show organisers have also released a limited number of exclusive, The show will also have a large test track with test bikes available from all the major manufacturers and displays by several big and some little (but still lovely) bike companies. There should be huge numbers of bargains on the bike shop stands and a holiday zone for planning how to get as far away from Birmingham as possible.
Those worrying about looking out of place should get themselves over to Crazy Color for some tatty neon hair dye and look for wardrobe advice from these noisome gentlemen here (never has acne disguising been so theatrical). |
