The pink shirted German strongmen of the road race peloton, Deutsche Telekom, will be joined for 2001 by an off road squad under the title “Team T-Mobile” (Telekom’s mobile phone division).

While Olympic gold medallist Jan Ullrich dominates the road team, T-Mobile will be led by Lado Fumic (5th at the Olympics MTB race) and Carsten Bresser (8th at the Olympics MTB race) supported by four young german riders in the Elite and Espoirs category.

Now news yet on the finished team strip, but that white and pink will be a bugger to get the mud out of!
