The International Trail Care Crew of IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association) are returning to Dalby forest on September the 1st, almost a year after they were last here.
The Trailbuilding school is being held in conjunction with the local Singletraction trailbuilding group, who were formed after last year’s visit. It’s part of a month long UK teaching and preaching campaign in line with IMBA’s ongoing crusade to get mountain bikers fairly represented and respected amongst landowners to expand the riding available. So, if you want to find out the correct way to plan and build sustainable, minimal impact mountain bike trails that will make local landowners love you rather than loath you, get yourself to Dalby this Sunday.
Meet at Low Dalby car park at 10am with digging proof clothes, and any (handheld) earthmoving equipment you can muster. There’s no official agenda yet, but IMBA promise it’ll be good, dirty but educational fun in the woods.
