2010 is nearly out and that means only one thing (well there’s a lot of other things too, but for the purposes of this article), time to start planning what events you’re going to ride in 2011.
Getting in early is the return of the Hit the North 2.5, a 2-hour XC race which takes place on Sunday 12 February in the North Manchester area.
The organisers tell us that the format will be a ‘Winter Sprinter’, essentially 2-hours of quality racing on almost the same course as last year (including that horrible grassy climb). On-site will be catering, entertainment, free parking and guaranteed nice weather – ok, we made that last one up…
The entry fee will be £14. All proceeds will as usual be donated to local charities (if we sell enough tickets to make a profit that is).
And as of 22 November (that’s next Monday) entry will be open. Point your mouse at this clicky link now for all the entry details www.hitthenorth.net
