Round 1 of the Gorrick/Exodus Spring Series due to take place this Sunday (27 January) has changed venue. The organisers comment thusly:
Unfortunately, the Army manoeuvres that are currently taking place on the training area at Tunnel Hill will not be finished by the weekend, so we have been obliged to change the venue to the DERA/QINETIQ TEST TRACK, THE MAULTWAY, BAGSHOT, SURREY (Grid Ref: SU906607) which is not far away from Tunnel Hill. Some of you will remember the venue as we used to use it a few years ago.
Whilst it will be a challenge for us, we are confident that we can deliver the first class event that you will be expecting. We will be e-mailing all our riders, but we would be very grateful if you would spread the word. In case any riders do not get this message we will be putting a marshall at the entrance to the Tunnel Hill venue and signposting from there to the new venue. We will also start the races 15 minutes later than scheduled to give everyone time to drive up the road to DERA/QinetiQ. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
- The nearest post code is GU15 1QA. This is NOT the venue entrance but a vehicle depot on Red Road, 100m to the south of the actual venue entrance. Please follow our event signs when in the vicinity.

- Nearest railway station is Bagshot
Although pre-entry has closed you can still enter on the day.
So there you go. Hopefully everyone will get the message, but if anyone doesn’t it looks as if the Gorrick chaps will get everyone to the right place at the right time. Find out more about the Spring Series at www.gorrick.com.
