Last week it was shoes we wanted to know about, this week it’s that winter essential, a decent waterproof. For the rest of the week we’ve got tests of waterproof (or water resistant) splash macs from Race Face, Altura, Karrimor, Endura, Ground Effect and any others that we can track down. For this week we’re concentrating on value for money at around £100 rather than the real big money Gore Tex (etc.) numbers, which we’ll be covering in the not too distant future.

Just as important as what we think though, is what you think about the jackets you’ve got, as chances are you’ve ridden round in them a whole lot longer – for better or worse.
