Highlights of the UCI Fort William World Cup will be broadcast on BBC Scotland tonight (that’s Sunday) from 11.45pm to 12.35 am and tomorrow (or Monday to its friends) at 11.20pm to 12.10am. The Beeb’s contracted cycling event coverage specialists VTV to produce the shows, and they’ve been working hard over the weekend – they’ve got a helicopter, helmetcams, motorbike cameras and a bunch of regular cameras on tripods all over the place to cover the XC, 4X and downhill racing. Although at the time of writing (8.30am on Sunday) it’s chucking it down and very murky so we’re not sure how much they’ll be able to see today.
The shows are only on BBC Scotland, but if you’ve got Sky you can pick up BBC Scotland on (we think) channel 960 – Sky subscribers’ll know how to find it, we’re sure. So if you haven’t made it up here, check it out. Even if you were here, VTV’s double helping of flying cameras almost certainly saw more than you could…
